New Scoreboards at THS

First National Bank on Spresser made a $12,000 cash donation to the Taylorville High School Athletic Department.  The donation will be used to purchase enhancements to the existing basketball and volleyball scoreboards.

Paul Held, Taylorville High School Athletic Director said, "The project to enhance our scoreboards has been a project we've looked at for a while.  Community involvement like what we've received from FNB on Spresser allows us to move forward with other projects like this."  The enhancements are a digital and wireless statistics display set for both THS and guests scoreboards.  The basketball statistics display will include player uniform number, individual player points and fouls for five players on each team.  The volleyball statistics display includes player uniform number and kills, digs, or aces for six players on each team.

"Through this donation, we hope to show our support to the Taylorville community," said Dick Adams, Board Member of First National Bank on Spresser.  "We are proud to make contributions, particularly those that enhance young peoples education and extracurricular activities."

The team at Lilly Signs along with the aid of Raedena Madison, Mike DeMichael, Duane Stock from FNB on Spresser designed, manufactured and installed the signs located and bottom of each scoreboard.
